Our shops' owner, Debra Henninger, is also the author of the "Hobo Quilts" book you see in the photo below.  This is a beautifully written and illustrated book with 50+ quilts based on the unique language used by hobos.  These symbols were used by the hobos to let other hobos know what to expect in the area. The book is a great read about a piece of American history as well as a book of wonderful quilt patterns.  Debi will sign it for you as an added bonus!
